Keoghs partner James Heath, pictured, was handed the achievement prize at the Fraud Awards last night in what proved to be a fruitful night for the law firm.

Keoghs also won the Fraud Intelligence Team – Independent, and Fraud Investigation Team – Independent, gongs.

Elsewhere, Direct Line Group picked up two prizes for the Technology Initiative of the Year and the Unsung Hero for Automated Robotic Investigator and Alexandra Westwood respectively.

QBE Europe also won two awards for Counter Fraud Team of the Year – Commercial and Young Fraud Fighter [Charlotte Gray].

Earlier in the night, Post content director Jonathan Swift announced that the Unsung Hero award had been renamed the Richard Davies Memorial Award for the Unsung Fraud Fighter of the Year in honour of Axa’s former fraud boss who sadly passed away earlier this year.

In an emotional night, Richard’s wife Allison handed over the prize to Alexandra and his former colleague Mike Bennett paid respects with a few words in remembrance of his achievements.
