Zurich, Amanda Blanc and Vicky Carter among big winners at the 2022 British Insurance Awards

BIA 2022 - Insurance Personality of the Year Amanda Blanc

Zurich was the big winner at the 2022 British Insurance Awards this evening, taking home three awards – including the highly coveted General Insurer of the Year gong.

Park Home Assist Insurance Services was the only other multiple winner, walking away with two awards, while Aviva group CEO Amanda Blanc (pictured) picked up Insurance Personality of the Year and Vicky Carter was acclaimed by the 1600-strong crowd as she picked up the Achievement Award.

The 2022 British Insurance Awards returned to the Royal Albert Hall for the 22nd time [out of 28 events] and the first time since 2019 in style, with comedian Sindhu Vee on host duties; and Trevor Nelson bringing the show to a climax with a DJ set that had the whole room shaking to a host of soul, house and disco classics.
