Insurance industry urged to take up the professionalism challenge

Ant-Gould-British-Insurance-Awards

The insurance industry was challenged to embrace professionalism, and in particular to embrace the Aldermanbury Declaration at the British Insurance Awards 2010 last week.

Ant Gould, group editor in chief of Incisive Media's insurance division, speaking to 1800 of the insurance industry's movers and shakers at the Royal Albert Hall, urged the Uk's insurance industry: "to embrace, promote and embed professionalism - along with the competency and integrity that that implies - across your businesses, across underwriting, broking, claims and throughout the supply chain."

Mr Gould also cited the need for the industry to get behind the Aldermanbury Declaration: "So I call on you to embrace the Aldermanbury Declaration and stand up to be counted."

Incisive Media's insurance publications, Post, PB, Insurance Age and Reinsurance have all been supporting an editorial campaign this year encouraging the insurance industry to embrace professionalism.
