Zurich, QBE and Markerstudy discuss new whiplash portal on Post webinar

With just over a month to go until the new whiplash portal goes live, Insurance Post recently hosted a webinar to discuss how insurers are preparing for the change.

As well as addressing concerns about potential pinch points and how the portal might be promoted to consumers, the expert panel considered what success will look like and whether long trailed issues such as litigants in person will have as much impact as some have suggested.

Joining moderator Jonathan Swift for the webinar were:

  • Ian Chiswell, rehabilitation consultant, QBE Europe
  • Steve Cross, group head of claims, Markerstudy
  • Calum McPhail, head of liability claims, Zurich
