Government sets out insurance framework for driverless cars
The government will set out a framework this week for insurance for driverless cars, a move that has been welcomed by insurers.
The Department for Transport said it has recommendations for a single insurance product that would both cover a motorist when they are driving as well as the car when it is in automated mode.
