Mexico quake damage "less than $100m"

The magnitude 7.4 earthquake that struck Mexico yesterday is expected to cause less than $100m of insured damage, according to catastrophe modelling firm Eqecat.

The quake struck a sparsely populated region in the state of Guerrero, Mexico on 20 March, just after noon local time. The earthquake struck close to the border between Guerrero and the southern state
