Alton Towers crash caused by human error
The Alton Towers rollercoaster accident in June that resulted in two people requiring amputations was caused by human error, the theme park has confirmed.
The 2 June incident on 'The Smiler' ride resulted in Leah Washington, 18, having her left leg amputated and Vicky Balch, 20, having her right leg amputated.
