Advent posts Q1 gain
Advent, the Lloyd's (re)insurer, posted a pretax profit of £1.8m, up from a pretax loss of £5.5m this time last year.
The company said that net earned premiums rose to £88.4m, up from £56m a year earlier.The combined ratio for the group improved to 98% from 111% a year earlier.
