Markel UK hires director of underwriting from Hiscox
Markel UK has named Mark Plews as director of underwriting, joining from Hiscox.
Plews, pictured, was previously head of schemes and partnerships at Hiscox, having spent 16 years at the insurer. He has also worked at AIG in Glasgow.
He replaces Markel UK director of underwriting
