Hunt begins for next FCA chair
HM Treasury has appointed Richard Lloyd as interim chair of the Financial Conduct Authority, with effect from 1 June 2022, as the search for Charles Randell’s successor begins.
Randell will step down from his role as chair of the FCA and Payment Systems Regulator this spring.
Lloyd is currently a senior independent director of the FCA board.
