Esure founder was one of the top ten UK taxpayers last year
Sir Peter Wood, founder and chairman of Esure, paid £53.7m in tax last year, according to the Sunday Times’ tax list.
The £53.7m paid by Wood, pictured, makes him the eighth highest UK taxpayer of the 2017/18, behind household names such as appliance mogul James Dyson and family and investment management magnate
