Actions against company directors surged by a third in Asia last year
There were 82 regulatory and criminal actions against company directors in Asia last year according to data from AIG.
Authorities in Asia have been tightening corporate governance regulations in recent years.
AIG said the 32% increase from 62 in 2013 was as a result of an increasing number of regulatory enforcement
