While Penny enjoyed snuggling down in front of the fire with a bottle of sherry and a big box of champagne truffles to watch Downton Abbey this Christmas, she was less obsessive about festive film viewing than the Towergate office, where one member of the communications department circulated a list of 21 “must-see Christmas movies” with instructions to “tick when watched”.

The inclusion of Edward Scissorhands and Gremlins was not to Penny’s taste, and at Towergate the list caused its own ruckus thanks to omission of Jingle All The Way and other classics such as Chitty

Claims service stayed steady at end of 2024

The consistent improvement in claims service seen over the last 18 months plateaued at the end of 2024, with the market average NPS remaining at -4 and just one point up on the NPS recorded at the end of 2023.
