Lloyd's investigation into Utley to conclude next year

The Lloyd's investigation into three former senior figures at Equity Red Star, including Hastings Insurance Group chairman Neil Utley, could conclude around the middle of next year once the Accountancy & Actuarial Discipline Board completes its own inquiry into Deloitte and KPMG's involvement.

It has been almost a year since the Enforcement Board of Lloyd's censured motor insurer Equity and demanded £95 000 in costs over the company's under-reserving of claims.
