12 December: Unhappy camper
Having worked hard all year, Mr Policyholder was looking forward to his annual camping holiday.
However, he was literally sleeping under the stars when, during his well-earned break, he discovered a hole in his canvas abode.
So what did Mr Policyholder do? He did what any self-respecting policyholder would do, and picked up the phone to his insurance company to report the damage.
Were mindless vandals to blame for the damage? An accident with a cigarette maybe? No, apparently the hole was created from the impact of large pine cones being thrown at the tent by an irate squirrel.
