Despite the speculation that the British Insurance Brokers’ Association may revert to its former name Biiba – the extra ‘i’ once standing for investment — following its merger with the Institute of Insurance Brokers, it has now been revealed that the united body will be called, well, Biba.
Eric Galbraith will remain as chief executive officer, with the IIB’s CEO Barbara Bradshaw becoming a member of the executive with specific responsibility to develop a new group focused on the issues
