Carillion collapse causes ‘ripple effect’ of trade credit claims

The number of trade credit claims has increased by 50% owing to a “ripple effect” from the collapse of Carillion.

The figures, by the Association of British Insurers found that there were 44 new trade credit claims every day during the first quarter, representing 3966 claims in total.

According to the ABI, the
