Man sentenced over 45 bogus claims for broken TVs

Cross-industry checks have led to a man who took out 87 home insurance policies and made 45 bogus claims for broken televisions getting a suspended sentence.

Alfred Gallinelli, 36, of Blundell Road, Barnet, took out the policies from November 2017 to July 2018 using fictitious names and made 45 claims, all for accidental damage to a flat-screen television
