With the introduction of the Equality Act, it became illegal for insurers to price disabled customers’ premiums on any factors that do not directly impact on the risk

The industry has made some strides in recent times to address helping disabled customers, through partnerships with schemes such as Motability and, in addition, work is being done to implement
