Thomas Cook wins legal battle over bogus holiday sickness claim
Thomas Cook has successfully defended against a fraudulent holiday illness claim seeking damages of up to £10,000.
Solicitors Bridger & Co acting on behalf of Julie Lavelle and her partner Michael McIntyre claimed that the family had suffered from gastroenteritis while on the holiday in Gran Canaria.
