Gallagher branded ‘cynical’ and ‘opportunistic’ over Towergate axe

Arthur J Gallagher has been accused of being “cynical” and “opportunistic” in its move to limit business being placed with Towergate Underwriting, citing concern over the health of the business.

At the same time as publishing its third quarter results, Towergate also revealed serious concerns about the financial viability of the business in early next year following increased costs around
