Roots has found that while 70% of insurance executives are actively testing or exploring AI solutions, fewer than 22% have advanced to full production.

The State of AI Adoption in Insurance 2025 report, which surveyed more than 240 insurance executives in late 2024, discovered that 22% of insurers have AI solutions “live and running in production”
