Insurers hike spending on cyber security

Combined cyber security spending for insurance companies and asset managers increased by 53% between 2019 and early 2023, a Moody’s survey has shown.

A poll of 110 insurers, insurance brokers and asset managers across the globe showed the increase comes in response to more frequent and sophisticated cyber attacks globally and growing regulatory
