Insurers count cost of EHIC no-deal Brexit loss
The loss of European Health Insurance Cards in the event of a no deal Brexit could increase insurer costs and put UK travellers off European mini-breaks.
EHICs guarantee free health cover for holders travelling to the EU. However, should the United Kingdom leave without a deal, they would no longer be valid.
This could ramp up some costs for insurers
