Vela MD among redundancies
The managing director of Oval-owned underwriting agency Vela is among seven staff to lose their jobs as part of a plan to "simplify" the operation and secure its future.
Vela MD Duncan Scott along with head of underwriting & operations Matt Gifford are among the three managers and four 'front-line' underwriters to leave after a month-long consultation.
