Insurance industry unready for FSA regulations, claims survey
On January 14 2005, new Financial Services Authority (FSA) regulations governing the general insurance industry come into effect. However, 96% of senior management within the industry believe “many firms” will not be compliant in time for the deadline, according to a survey by Docucorp, a provider of information solutions.
The survey of over 200 general insurers and brokers reveals a prevailing view within the industry that large numbers of firms will become authorised by the FSA without having put in place theOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
