Analyst Numis insurance has predicted increased investor interest in insurance because of strong underwriting earnings despite an uncertain economic environment.
In a statement Numis said embedded earnings are strong and new business continues to be written at attractive rates.It also highlighted the defensive qualities of the non-life insurance sector
