Swiss Re back in black

Swiss Re has recovered from its 2002 losses to post increased profits for 2003.

The company, which made a loss of SFr 91m ($65m) over 2002, announced that net income for 2003 had risen substantially to SFr 1.7bn ($1.3bn). Premiums earned rose slightly from SFr 29bn to SFr 30bn.
