Oval continues acquisition spree
Broking consildator Oval has acquired Coventry-based Halkett Associates for a mixture of cash and Oval shares. This is Oval's second major expansion move in a week, following its acquisition of the Beddis Group on the 17 December, and its fourth deal in total.
Halkett, founded by Bob Halkett in 1988, currently generates annual brokerage income in excess of £2.1m from gross written premiums of approximately £15 m. The staff of 27 services some 200 majorOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
