Broadgate enters international property treaty market
Broadgate Syndicate 1301 is to establish an international property treaty account in 2005. Four of the Great Lakes Reinsurance (UK) treaty underwriting team, headed by Bob Katzaros, will be joining Broadgate to build the account, which will comprise catastrophe, risk excess and proportional treaty business. The projected premium income in 2005 is £20m.
Mr Katzaros, who has 28 years’ London Market experience, is a specialist treaty reinsurance underwriter with a proven track record of profitable results. He spent the last sixteen years with GreatOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
