AEG chief says promoter 'would be willing to self-insure' for Michael Jackson concerts
AEG's chief executive has said that the concert promotions company would be willing to self-insure Michael Jackson should there be a shortfall in coverage for the singer for all of his concerts, the Daily Telegraph has reported.
"We would be prepared to self-insure to make up the dates. It's a risk we're willing to take to bring the King of Pop to his fans," said AEG chief executive Randy Phillips in an interview with theOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
