APRA to investigate Australian branch of GenRe
The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has announced an investigation into certain reinsurance practices involving General Reinsurance Australia’s general insurance business.
APRA inspector Estelle Pearson of Finity Consulting has been appointed under section 52 of the Insurance Act 1973 to investigate General Re’s complex financial products in relation to financial andOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
