Aon settles $4m contingent commission suit with Florida
The Florida authorities have reached a settlement with Aon relating to undisclosed compensation in connection with the placement of insurance coverage on behalf of Florida policyholders.
Florida's attorney general Bill McCollum, chief financial officer Alex Sink and insurance commissioner Kevin McCarty announced that Aon will pay $2.6m to Florida to reimburse affected policyholders
