Novae withdraws from Chaucer merger talks
Novae, the Lloyd's insurer, said it has withdrawn from merger talks with rival Chaucer Holdings.
Novae said: "Novae has come to this decision on the basis that it does not believe it would be possible to structure a transaction which would be in the interests of its shareholders."
