Texan bid-rigging probes claim senior AWAC scalp
In an SEC filing, soon-to-float Bermudian (re)insurer AWAC has revealed that it has been involved in investigations into bid-rigging and inappropriate use of contingent commissions in the State of Texas and that it indefinitely suspended its chief underwriting officer Jordan Gantz as a result.
The firm said it is co-operating with the investigation and that the proceedings are likely to result in penalties for AWAC, although the full scope and outcome of the investigation cannot be
