IIB calls foul over FSA proposal
The Institute of Insurance Brokers said today it was "extremely alarmed about proposals the Financial Services Authority is making, which, if adopted, would have the effect of depriving consumers of vital information when dealing directly with insurers."
The FSA proposals contained in Consultation Paper CP05/14 involve amendments to the Insurance Conduct of Business Rules (ICOB) and include abolishing status disclosure for insurers dealing directlyOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
