Partner Re to consolidate $1bn reinsurer in Dublin
Bermuda headquartered global reinsurer Partner Re has announced that its subsidiary Partner Reinsurance Europe based in Dublin, will be the principal reinsurance carrier for its business underwritten in France, Ireland, Switzerland and Canada from January 1, 2008.
Under the new European Union (EU) reinsurance directive, Partner Re Europe will be able to operate in all EU member states under a single regulatory framework.
