Equitas reaches $245 agreement with US giant
Lloyd’s run off venture Equitas and US insurer Travelers Property Casualty have reached a comprehensive settlement of all policies existing between Travelers and those underwriters at Lloyd’s reinsured by Equitas.
In a joint statement both parties said the settlement will result in a payment of $245m by Equitas to Travelers on 31 March 2004. The agreement includes all policies involving the former AetnaOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
