Allianz results dragged down by Dresdner
Allianz, the German insurance giant, said that losses at its former investment banking arm Dresdner drove its net loss to a €2.4bn loss.
The sale of Dresdner hit Allianz with a €6.4bn charge in the fourth quarter of the year, consisting of a €2.1bn of operating losses in the unit in just the first nine months of the year, anOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
