Zurich converts Irish operation into big-ticket carrier
Zurich Financial Services Group announcedtoday that Zurich Insurance Ireland Limited (ZIIL), formerly Eagle Star Insurance Company (Ireland) Ltd, will become an EU-wide risk carrier for Global Corporate business with the ability to operate through a branch network under the EU Non-Life Insurance Directives.
In a company statement, the insurer said this new structure is aligned to its strategy of creating a more effective organization by achieving centrally co-ordinated and therefore more efficientOnly users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
