Scor comes out blazing in 1st quarter
French reinsurer Scor has revealed blistering 1st-quarter growth and increased profits, boosted by increased non-life premium income and higher investment returns.
In the first quarter 2006, gross written premiums were €734m, up 18% compared to the first quarter 2005. The group put this down to a 31% increase in non-life treaties a 29% expansion of large
