Over the past 18 months there has been an increased focus on professionalism in the broking industry and, as well as signing up to the Aldermanbury Declaration, the spotlight is falling on the topic of chartered status. Many individual brokers display their chartered status with pride but what of companies as a whole? Post talked to firms at various stages of CII qualification, from the non-chartered to those that have been accredited, to find out the pros and cons of the process and whether it is worth the effort.
