Hire car insurance "baffles" consumers
British travellers are being "scared" into buying extra car insurance on hire cars because of widespread ignorance about excess cover, an online insurance company has found.
Icarhire Insurance has blasted insurance policies for "not being worth the paper they are printed on" and implored drivers to stop rental companies taking advantage of them.
