Mutual outlines plans to move into the broker market
Benenden Healthcare Society, a mutual that provides healthcare to public sector workers and co-operatives such as John Lewis, plans to sell its low-cost policies via intermediaries for the first time as it aims to increase its share of the market.
York-based Benenden, which has almost one million members, claims it is in talks with several high-profile brokers and has already signed a distribution agreement with employee benefits expert
