Six MPs back early day motion calling for Co-op to rethink Markerstudy deal
Tony Lloyd, Labour member of parliament for Rochdale, filed an early day motion in House of Commons on 1 September calling on Co-op to review its decision to sell the Manchester-based insurance business to Markerstudy.
A further five MPs –including representatives from the Labour Party, the Democratic Unionist Party, the Scottish National Party and an independent – have signed the EDM.
