AIA's Tucker to join HSBC

Mark Tucker, group CEO and president of Hong Kong-headquartered AIA, is leaving the Asia life insurer to join international banking group HSBC.

Tucker, pictured, who has been at AIA for seven years, will join HSBC on 1 October, succeeding Douglas Flint. Tucker, who is also stepping down from the board of Goldman Sachs, will be tasked with
