Ripe buys boat insurer GJW Direct from Munich Re
Ripe has bolstered its share of the marine insurance market by buying GJW Direct from owner Munich Re’s Specialty.
Founded in 1826, GJW Direct offers non-commercial marine insurance and has been owned by Munich Re Specialty for more than 20 years.
The acquisition for an undisclosed sum is Ripe’s second major M&A
