Three years on from the launch of the Aldermanbury Declaration, Post recently held a webinar to look at how the industry is going to move on and raise the professionalism bar within the UK insurance industry.

An expert panel consisting ot Steve Jenkins - director of financial services and insurance markets, Chartered Insurance Institute; Chris Hanks - former Chartered Insurance Institute president; Tom Woolgrove - Chartered Insurance Institute president and managing director of personal lines insurance, Direct Line Group; and John Moore Chartered Broker, chairman, Thomas Carroll Group, reviewed the progress of the Declaration, and spoke frankly about its successes and shortcomings.

The quartet also debated the consultation on changes to Chartered status and value of apprentices.

Government to consult on leasehold commission ban
