Tens of thousands face being priced out of flood cover

Insurers preparing to enter a free market situation on flood insurance have issued a stark warning to government that tens of thousands of homeowners will soon be left without affordable cover.

A week after Post revealed flood talks had broken down between the Association of British Insurers and government, the ABI has confirmed its hopes for a deal that would see its Flood Re model replace
