DLG to axe 70 leadership roles
Direct Line Group is to scrap 70 senior leadership roles across the business as part of the next phase of a programme to achieve £100m in gross annual cost savings by the end of 2014.
Jonathan Davidson, chief operating officer, and Sheree Howard, Solvency II and executive projects managing director, are included in the job losses. Their roles will not be directly replaced.
